The short answer

What is the EDGE grant for international branding?

The EDGE grant is Enterprise Singapore’s single grant for business upgrading. It replaced EDG, MRA and PSG for new applications on 30 September 2026. For branding, EDGE has one activity called International Branding. It supports brand research, brand strategy and brand identity work that helps you expand into overseas markets.

If you are an SME, you can get up to 70% of the professional fees reimbursed. If you are not, it is up to 50%. Some people call it the EDGE Branding grant. Same thing.

S$100,000
Annual grant cap per company, shared across all EDGE activities.
10 weeks
For Enterprise Singapore to give you an application outcome.
12 months
To complete your project from the date of approval.
What you can claim

What does the EDGE Branding grant cover?

In short, EDGE pays for the thinking, not the production. You pick at least one of the three areas below, and the grant supports the professional fees.

Covered by the grant

Not covered

Need the website, brochures or campaigns too? We can still do them for you. They just sit outside the grant.
Do the sums

How much can you get back?

Here is a simple illustration. Say your international branding project costs S$50,000 in professional fees, and you are an SME supported at 70%.

S$50,000

Your branding project fees

S$35,000

EDGE reimburses up to 70%

S$15,000

What you pay in the end

Three things to know. EDGE works on reimbursement, so you pay for the project in full first and claim after it is completed. GST is not covered. And "up to 70%" is a ceiling, not a promise. The actual amount is stated in your Letter of Offer and counts towards your S$100,000 yearly cap, which refreshes on 1 April.

Who can apply

Is your company eligible for the EDGE grant?

You are eligible if your company

To get the 70% support level, you need to be an SME. Enterprise Singapore generally defines an SME as a company with group annual sales of not more than S$100 million, or group employment of not more than 200 employees. Not sure? Check your company on BizSG, or just ask us.

Frequently asked questions

EDGE grant for international branding: your questions, answered

EDGE is Enterprise Singapore’s single grant for business upgrading. It covers 8 business areas, from automation and digitalisation to internationalisation and sustainability. It opened on 30 September 2026 and replaced EDG, MRA and PSG for new applications.

No. EDG, MRA and PSG stopped taking new applications on 29 September 2026. From 30 September, you apply under the EDGE grant. If you already have an EDG, MRA or PSG project running, it continues and you can still claim when it is completed.

Short answer is no. International Branding is for expanding into overseas markets. Activities aimed at generating business in Singapore are not supported.

Up to 70% of the professional fees if you are an SME, and up to 50% if you are not. Whatever you receive counts towards your company’s overall EDGE cap of S$100,000 a year, which refreshes every 1 April.

No. EDGE International Branding supports brand research, brand strategy and brand identity. Collateral production, website development, social media management and marketing campaigns are not supported. Neither is GST.

No. If you have started work or paid a deposit before submitting your application, the project is not eligible. Once you have applied, costs incurred from the application date are covered if your application is approved. If it is not approved, you bear the cost, so it is safer to wait for the Letter of Offer.

Enterprise Singapore states an application outcome in 10 weeks. After approval, you have 12 months to complete the project.

After the project. EDGE reimburses you, so you pay in full first, complete the project, then submit your claim with an audit by a firm from Enterprise Singapore’s panel of auditors. Once your claim is approved, payment takes 14 working days by PayNow Corporate, or up to eight weeks by GIRO.

No, and be careful of anyone who says they can. Enterprise Singapore does not permit third parties to apply for or manage the grant for you. Your company applies on the Business Grants Portal with its own Corppass. What we do is prepare the proposal, quotation and certification, and walk you through each step.

Yes. Our brand consultants are SS 680 certified through TÜV SÜD, and your EDGE application asks for the vendor’s SS 680 certification.

No. Every application is assessed by Enterprise Singapore, and nobody can promise you an approval. What we can do is tell you honestly whether your project fits before you spend time applying.

No. The first consultation is complimentary. Fill in the form on this page or WhatsApp us.
