An engineering company saw the potential in LED (Light Emitting Diodes) lighting and sought our help to create a brand new consumer electronics brand with lighting as its core product line.

In Greek mythology, there is a god called Argus who has a multitude of eyes.

Running our background checks, we were pleasantly surprised that ArgusLED is available both as a trademark and with a .com address to boot! (.Com domains are very difficult to come by nowadays.)

The addition of the Japanese word (a direct transliteration of the name 'Argus', pronounced as 'Aagasu') lends the new brand a foreign pedigree as well as provides inspiration for a series of characters a la anime style, which ultimately is applied to product packaging.
