Your questions, answered
No. The official activity is International Branding, within EDGE’s Internationalisation area. It is the relevant activity to explore for brand work supporting overseas expansion.
No. “Up to 70%” is the maximum support rate, not automatic approval. Your company, scope, costs and remaining annual grant balance must qualify. Enterprise Singapore makes the decision.
Enterprise Singapore defines an SME as a company with group annual sales of no more than S$100 million or a group workforce of no more than 200. The group definition matters, so check the official FAQ.
No. Submit your application before work starts or any payment or deposit is made. Retrospective applications are not supported. If you begin after submission but before approval, you bear the risk of rejection.
Your company must submit and manage the application using its Corppass account. Third parties cannot do that on your behalf. We can discuss your branding brief and provide our proposal, quotation and supporting project documents.
Prepare your overseas expansion plan, the vendor proposal and quotation, SS 680 certification, and one-year projections for overseas sales and new jobs. The job projections cover overall and Singaporean jobs with gross monthly salaries above S$5,000. Check the official activity page for the full requirements.
Those costs are excluded from International Branding support, along with collateral production, social media management and implementation of campaigns or the brand roadmap. We can discuss a separate budget for any rollout work.
Yes, for a new eligible project. You cannot seek support again for the same project already funded under EDG, MRA or PSG. Previous usage under those schemes does not count towards the EDGE cap.
After completing the deliverables and paying all project expenses in full. EDGE accepts one final claim. International Branding claims can be submitted from 1 December 2026, subject to your claim deadline and documentation. Follow the activity page’s audit requirements.
Domestic-only work is outside the International Branding activity. Tell us what your business needs, and we can discuss an appropriate branding scope and budget without assuming grant support.
